We have clearly seen in this paper about how much food is thrown away every day – 39 million kilos of food,which would be able to feed 19 million people per day. This food which would end up in the garbage bin, constitutes the raw material of our work. It is as if we would collect this food for the second time. From this comes the concept of “ Urban Harvest”

The NGO Food Bank collects food supplied by donors (food companies, small and medium agricultors, retailers) and distribute them among charity institutions which are registered. By doing so, it is possible to provide food in quantity and quality to all the persons assisted by the institutions.

Operationally speaking the NGO Food Bank collects where there is waste and delivers where there is lack.
